Coming from an experimental calligraphic exercise, Easy is a warm latin typeface, designed in a single weight. It is the result of an extreme simplification of typographic shapes. This simplification gives rise to unexpected forms. Its calligraphic heritage confers to it a sharp rhythm where every stroke comes in contrast with what comes next or before. Its excessive proportions and its extreme black weight make it useful for display uses. It lends itself well to short sentences and could be used for example for storefronts.
